Some manufacturers for the new 3D TV Screens is really aiming first at the computer market. This means smaller TV screens and lower cost for custumers. And if you were able to chose a 2D TV screen or a 3D TV screen to play your favourite computer game on, wouldn't you select the one with 3D. In fact the 3 Dimension TV screens could have their breakthrough on the computer gaming scene rather than at the movies... This is due to a number of reasons mostly reasons including manufacturing costs. Not only is computer adapted 3D TV screens cheeper but it is also cheaper to start to produce games that take advantage of the 3D TV screens than it is to start producing such movies. The game industry is a lot more mobile and open for new technology than their old heavy cousin in Hollywood!

The best advantage for 3D TV games is that they already are compatible with Open-GL and DirectX systems for displaying graphics on-screen. This means that if you want to play Counter Strike or any other computer game in 3 Dimensions all you have to do is to buy a 3D TV set and the game is coming at you in 3 dimensions! 3D TV Games could therefor quickly be introduced to the current computer game market. Except for the new TV screen, no other stuff would be needed. And certainly not any glasses...
